Training & Development

An introduction to the i2r Academy

In recent years, the ever-changing labour market has meant that recruiting and retaining quality staff for a fast moving, manufacturing company, is not without its challenges.

i2r recognise that attracting and retaining quality staff starts at the beginning of the employees recruitment cycle.

The i2r Academy is an extension of the HR function within the company, working closely with all areas of the business and focussed on training and development for new and existing staff.

It can be easy for employers to forget that ongoing training is just as important as starter training, investing in upskilling the workforce and providing further educational training to those employees established in the business, will increase the chances of retaining their skills and knowledge base.

The i2r Academy work closely with training providers within the area, as well as local colleges, to deliver industry recognised qualifications, along with experienced in-house trainers, online platforms and ‘on the job’ training.
