i2r is committed to a sustainable future - a pledge that is demonstrated at every level of the business - economic, community, employees and environmental. Through this commitment, we can offer real socio-economic value for our customers, suppliers, employees and shareholders, as well as the local and national community in which we operate.
Our corporate social responsibility framework allows us to promote ourselves as an employer of choice, who exhibits a solid ethical background with a strong community mindset. This value chain translates into supporting the initiatives of its staff in a wider context, such as those who seek to positively contribute to the community through volunteering and charitable work.
The company regularly supports ad hoc fundraiser events on request from its employees, suppliers and key local businesses. Most recently, these activities have included a number of participative team events, including litter picking as part of the Keep Britain Tidy campaign, charity coffee mornings, various sports orientated fund-raising activities, as well as supporting customers' charitable initiatives.

In addition, we are also committed to reducing packaging waste and increasing recyclability through better labelling, education and through supporting relevant collection and recycling initiatives.
i2r is also an active member of Alupro, an industry-funded, not-for-profit organisation that represents the UK’s aluminium packaging industry. Alupro work to fulfil the industry’s obligation to meet, and exceed, recycling targets for aluminium packaging. They work in partnership with local authorities, the waste management industry and the wider metal packaging sector to develop and stimulate the UK’s collection infrastructure specifically for aluminium packaging. They also manage and run consumer information and education campaigns to encourage participation in recycling schemes. Alupro acts as the voice of the industry on issues of government policy and legislative development.
